Where Do Buyers Come From?

Would you like to increase your buyer sources by 10%.  How would that affect your income?  Good Right?

NAR ran a 2023 survey they titled, Home Buyer and Seller Trends.  In the survey they asked residential licensees their source of clients over the passed twelve months.  If you are working on developing each of these sources, good, but if not, think about how you could add them into your business development plan.  The chart below shows the source and the percent of success licensees reported for that category for ages 43 to 57 years of age

Sources and Methods                                     Per Cent of Sales from the Source

Referred by a friend, neighbor or relative                                 36%

Viewed the property on agent’s link                                          12%

      Agents Website                                                                          9%

      Signage on property                                                                   9%

Agent reached out cold calling (phone or email)                       4%

      Met at open house                                                                     4%

           Total                                                                                      74%

Let your friends and neighbors know you are licensed.  Ask for referrals.  Do you have QR codes, or links to your listings on your website and social media.  It is said that the biggest mistake advertisers make is omitting the action words, like “call me”; “request a showing”, or motivation, “I can show you how to make this home yours”.  With interest rates high, this is market that requires reaching out and adding new sources.
