This is the 3-hr Mandatory Fair Housing CE Course. Per the Washington Dept of Licensing (DOL), the purpose of this course is to cover the federal Fair Housing Act (42 U.S.C. 3601 et seq.) and the Washington Law Against Discrimination (Chapter 49.60 RCW) as it relates to real estate transactions. The course will teach real estate brokers and managing brokers the historical and societal context of housing discrimination, legal framework intended to prevent housing discrimination, and steps to take to prevent housing discrimination. The 6-hr version of this Mandatory Fair Housing course is available separately.

Every 2 years, the Washington State Dept. of Licensing (DOL) and Real Estate Commission release a set Current Issues (CORE) curricula specifically designed to provide a mandated 3-hr legislative, legal, and business practices update for real estate licensees. This course is designed to meet that purpose. This cycle's topic focuses on State forms, including a few new forms to understand what they are and how to use the forms effectively in real estate practice. This course is largely a read-only format. It includes topics on:
